What does it mean to be a midwife of the new consciousness? A midwife of the Soul? It means embracing rebirth so that the person becomes wholly embodied in what the soul wants to achieve beyond any known and existing pattern. Basically, your soul is challenging you to act outside the patterns belonging to any paradigm, because that is your authentic nature.
You are not playing the rebel at all costs, what I mean is a call to be outside the box, to be different, to be beyond the standards, the weird ones, the ones that beat a different rhythm by listening to their own feeling and sense of time. Our sense of time is the way outside the box, and by slowing down our time, we acquire the speed necessary to live our frequency, and by doing so we produce change within us and around us.
The soul that asks to embody a life outside the box in the world usually has a very high vibration. As soon as a part of it is born into this space and time through the body, it finds itself embedded in an environment that is far removed from its own vibration, and this is necessary considering that a great deal of energy codes must be embodied and anchored here, and this is only possible through life experiences. The more resistance one encounters with regards to one’s own essence, the more one anchors within reality. Wrong roads, dead ends and curve balls present you with a reality that is difficult to deal with and extremely challenging.
Far be it from me to create a comfortable nest for those who love victimhood or those who seek excuses to escape from reality wrapped in an aura of regal and divine investiture, or to brand painful or traumatic experiences with false paternalism or benevolence.
Nor am I identifying this group of souls as superheroes over others. Every soul has the same value, whatever project they have within their being, every soul is special and makes a difference in the web of evolution and expansion of consciousness.
During our evolutionary journey we could become more and more aware of the web that our soul wants to weave through our lives. The web, the project, is a collection of information and frequencies that we may call codes.
Being aware of the soul codes we are here to embody makes us more purposeful and ready to follow our inner guidance, inspiring us to be the best version of ourselves for what is possible every day.
The goal is to merge the human knowledge and awareness of this and other lives with that of the Being embodied through us. All of this happens as we dismantle our limiting beliefs; we create space for the remaining part of our energetic Being to incarnate, and more soul-aligned experiences can be received.
It can be tiring or frustrating at times because it seems to unfold in a timing that does not match our expectations and patience and given that the process is digested in a physical body that lives in a space and time, it does not happen in a blink of an eye and is no child’s play. The part that generates the greatest resistance is the mind with everything it has been inherited from the family, from society, with all that has been experienced, created, and understood by us, along with those fragments of consciousness related to other existences or other timelines that generate friction. Obviously, we cannot think we can sift through everything, but at the right moment interconnected facts emerge on the spiral of time to be seen, integrated, and released (rewritten). Our creativity and imaginative capacity are the key.
Ironically, we are taught to lose ourselves in mental nightmares of the past, rather than employing our imagination to create and wish for different scenarios. Daydreaming is viewed purely as an escape from reality, sometimes it is, but if we ask ourselves about its deeper function instead, we may realise how closely it is linked to our creative and transformative capacity; especially when we work with dreams, lucid dreams, astral projections, and those borderline places between sleep and wakefulness.
Going back to the midwives of the new consciousness, these souls go through a process of liberation that first passes through the dismantlement of all acquired patterns, not only the limiting ones but everything that has been acquired, everything must fall, making a clean slate. To be reborn, you need to have the courage to let go of the identity to which you were attached.
It is an important process, and we really require a lot of love and compassion for ourselves, as well as time for ourselves to return to our centre.
It is an alchemical process that occurs in full consciousness, and it can be painful at times because it rewrites everything, even the concepts concerning the spiritual realm and those concerning being of service, it is all different from what we are usually taught. Better yet, it’s perfect for a while, till your soul beats the quiver to be heard, to be able to express and live out its dreams and plans into reality. It pushes you until you realise that to be of service means to be who you are, embracing all your facets and characteristics from this and other dimensions within your consciousness, and those aspects of you are there to be blended and transformed into a new being that has never existed, and of which you have never had a total vision before. Energetically it was not possible as old structures prevented the expansion of consciousness and awareness.
If being a midwife of the soul is the project, it means that your essence is calling you to be on the threshold of inner worlds, outer worlds, old and new ones, dreams and awakening, the material world, unseen worlds, and other dimensions.
Being centred, in this case, does not mean incorporating the structures (theories) acquired along the spiritual path, being centred means embodying our free, wild, creative and soul-catalysing selves, it is the face of the Sacred Feminine expressing ‘herself’ through the ways of the Tarot Fool, the Priestess, the Witch, the Mad Hatter, it is something you never expected and which has previously never been fully grasped by your awareness.
The acknowledgement and acceptance of being weird and different from the structure, having a form but shifting according to the situation, expresses at different levels, it is like decompressing a file generating time to integrate and understand what and how many codes we hold within ourselves.
An extremely important shift is when we understand that whenever we have felt excluded, rejected, and different, almost non-existing, it has always had a purpose (when observed from a broader perspective and deeper awareness).
Let us say that through distorted events we have always been seen, acknowledged exactly for our value (characteristic) in our own diversity as the driving force of rebirth.
Our rejection trauma, our feeling of inadequacy has driven us to take action in order to be seen, sometimes we have tried to adhere to a reality that was not in resonance with us to discover what belonging meant, within a reality that has always seen us as we are ‘outside of’ ‘on the threshold of’. The moment we reclaim the value of our diversity it is the moment we surrender to our soul, stop fighting against our authentic nature and can acknowledge it from a broader perspective (let me be clear, I am neither praising nor justifying any toxic behaviour, but I am referring to letting go of our wounds and acknowledge ourselves as the most amazing beings we already are!).
Our soul, its connection to Source and all those energy patterns coming through interactions with people and places were actually saying: ‘You can free yourself from what you consider to be chains, we love and support you so much that you may recognise within yourself the ability and possibility to spread your wings and dance your beauty, to inspire and create new worlds together with those souls and places that resonate with you.
